HP TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility varies for different teaching subjects. Below is a brief overview:
- Arts TET – B.A./B.Com. with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed. / Senior Secondary with 50% marks and 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed. / Special Education B.Ed.
- Non-Medical TET – B.Sc. (Non-Medical) with 50% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent qualifications.
- Medical TET – B.Sc. (Medical) with 50% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent.
- Shastri TET – Shastri degree with minimum 50% marks from HP Govt. recognized institution.
- Language Teacher (LT) TET – B.A. with Hindi as an elective + Diploma/B.Ed. / M.A. in Hindi with B.Ed.
- Punjabi TET – B.A. with Punjabi as elective + Diploma/B.Ed. / M.A. Punjabi with B.Ed.
- Urdu TET – B.A. with Urdu as elective + Diploma/B.Ed. / M.A. Urdu with B.Ed.
- JBT TET – 10+2 with 50% marks + 2 years JBT/D.El.Ed. OR B.El.Ed./B.Ed. with Elementary Education specialization.
