The Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Shimla Urban has announced new vacancies for Anganwadi Workers and Helpers. In total, there are 10 posts – 5 for workers and 5 for helpers. Who Can Apply?

To apply for these posts, you should be between 18 to 35 years old. The minimum qualification required is 12th pass. You must also be a permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh. Another important condition is that your family income should not be more than ₹50,000 per year. Candidates from the local Anganwadi area will be given first preference.

These posts are for different Anganwadi centers in Shimla Urban. Some of the areas include Fingask Estate, Papumpape Colony, Bada Market, Ladakhi Mohalla, Lower Jakhu, Oak Wood, Richmond, ITI Bank, Housing Board, Mehboobnagar, Chhota Shimla, Phagli, and Khalini.

How Will Selection Be Done?

The selection is based on 25 marks in total. Marks will be given on the basis of your 10+2 marks, higher studies, and work experience. For example, if you have graduation or post-graduation, you will get extra marks. Women from special categories like SC/ST/OBC, widows, orphans, destitute women, or Divyang (disabled) women will also get some additional marks. Finally, a short personal interview will be conducted for 3 marks.

  • Income certificate
  • Category certificate (if any)
